THE Christmas Cake - step 1

1: Get 500g each of sultanas, currants and raisins
2: Get a bottle of good brandy
3:Slosh copious amounts gently pour a little liquor over fruit
4:Leave for three or four days over night topping up regularly adding more if fruit remains dry
