Room Tree

After Breakfast, we proceeded to STAY in our jammies and get busy decorating the rest of the house. We got so much done, and headed into Sugar's room for the Pre-Christmas/birthday room clean-up and purge. We made a lot of head way, but had to stop for lunch. I worried that we would lose our ambition again...but luckily...we powered through and finished up the job. Sugar got her little Christmas tree up and decorated all on her own. I let her put it in a different spot in her room this year. It was hard for this mama....but wanted her to have it her way. I miss the days of when she wanted it MY way. tee hee.....

Sugar's favorite part was placing all the wrapped up books under her tree. She loves this tradition we have. She gets to unwrap one each night, and we read it together. There are 24 different Christmas/winter themed books there. No new ones this year...all ones from years past. She loves to unwrap them and remember all the other Christmas times we have read it together. Such a special way to count down to Christmas.

In the late afternoon we got some clothes on to venture outside to get a few outside decorations up and to feed the animals. Then it was back in the house for dinner and another holiday movie. I love these sort of days.
