The Chamber

This is the Hyperbaric Chamber located at the USC Wrigley Institute for Environmental Science. It's run by an all volunteer crew and has saved many lives as well as aided in many diving accidents. It essentially brings the diver back to the depth they were at before they started having problems. On a few occasions victims have arrived "flat-lined" but since there is not a physician on staff to pronounce anyone as "passed", the crew has to proceed as they would if there were still signs of life. Twice in the last few years people who arrived without a pulse and walked out of the chamber a few hours later.
This place is AWESOME.
