Life still revolves around caring for one little individual, one golden retriever and another little individual who frustratingly is still in NICU 45 minutes away. Being a preemie we are unable to take L anywhere among crowds for risk of infection, so her few sorties out involve going in the car to medical appointments, sleeping in the pram while granny takes her exercise or like today, chilling in her car seat on the buggy during a walk in the park with Kymba. Well, it is not exactly a park - it is called the Horse Trails as it is a large area of desert which has been separated off for joggers, walkers, cyclists and riders. Much like The Knock, in Crieff, where I walk daily with Cara and Bruce except it is desert! I will blip it one day. Anyway, the walk is quite exposed and although very warm here in Nevada, there is often a cool wind blowing on this particular walk and so L needed to be cosied up so she would stay warm. I took this picture at the end of the walk as the sight of her made me chuckle. Both pram suit and hat are the smallest size but I am confident she will eventually grow into it all!

Baby R didn't make it home for Thanksgiving as we had hoped because of a few minor setbacks. Apparently she has to tick all of a number of boxes before they discharge her and unfortunately no sooner does she tick most of them then she unticks a couple again! We are trying to be very patient and in the meanwhile both girls are growing and now weigh 7lb and 8lb respectively.
