Lighting up Glasgow

I was at the East Dunbartonshire Schools' Christmas concert tonight at the Royal Glasgow Concert Hall tonight.
I took this picture of George Wyllie's Running Clock when we came out. I quite liked effect of the the wet concrete and the shimmering lights.
Seems very early to be getting into the swing of the Christmas festivities but the concert was most jolly.
Although I didn't expect to be greetin' - but greet I did. As did most of the audience when a wee girl from Merkland School sang a solo accompanied by her classmates, who were all wearing bumble bee Santa hats. Before she started singing, she dedicated the song to a lady - a teacher, I presume - from the school, who had died.
With her passing, she said, 'a light had gone out' from their life.
It was uplifting and just beautiful. I'm sure her teacher would have been proud.
