Belated Birthday Greetings

Mr E was greeted this evening with a bit of FPA (or fire pit action, as we've labelled it), when he got in from work.

I decided to do a belated birthday meal for our eldest daughter, who celebrated her birthday whilst we were in Scotland. I roasted a big pan of squash and veggies and made soup. I followed this with steaks, sausages and chicken/pepper/onion kebabs and different salads.

It was one of those nights where the smoke blew in everyone's faces but the heat was most welcome.

Fionne had her check up at the vets this morning and got a clean bill of health. The vet says that the wound is healing nicely but make sure that she doesn't lick it. Easier said than done.
