Edinburgh Day 2 - Cramond

I have had no time to catch up on blips properly since arriving here yesterday. I am struggling to stay awake posting this now. I think I will sleep well tonight. The Edinburgh air must be getting to me this visit..

After breakfast today, I felt rather tired and went back to my room for a lie down and did not emerge until after lunchtime which is quite terrible really. It was a grey day but with not a breeze out there and no rain. I had a lovely trip to Cramond which was somewhere I had never been before. I didn't go out to the little island itself as it wasn't quite the safe time on the information board warning of people being cut off when the tide came in. This is definitely something to do another day when I have my old walking boots on. The pleasant wander around Cramond was followed by a lovely leek and potato soup with pot of tea in the little cafe there.

I went up to Ocean Terminal after that and checked the times of The Imitation Game which was highly recommended. I didn't have long to wait so killed time phoning mom etc.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and despite feeling tired and a bit achy, I was in no danger of nodding off.

Back at my 'home' for this week - the lovely A-Haven - I had a quick chat with David who is my friend and landlord before heading up the stairs.

Track? Another classic from The Beatles today - Don't Let Me Down
