1st day of advent....

First day of advent. We have 24 bags strung up and in each one is an activity for us to do as a family (either the 3 or 4 of us at home). Today was a trip to Dobbies to see the Christmas animals and buy a Christmas tree decoration. We had a lovely bit of cake and hot choc in the cafe, then a nice browse around the store. Taking in the cute moving animal displays - D was very taken by the moving rabbits who he claimed had to be stroked a certain way, and loved him! We then visited all the real animals where again there was much love for the bunnies. It was the most bunnies we've ever seen there so there was much excitement!

This eve A n I have cleared out and boxed up all the toy wooden veg and kitchen stuff that the boys used to play with. We were going to sell/give it away but have come over all nostalgic and decided to box and bag it and put in the cellar....in case we ever have grandchildren.
