Dull day

It was dull and overcast all day today, not really raining much, but never far away. We are almost at mid-winter, I suppose, but we have been spoiled by all the great weather during November. Most of the staff had today off as part of the long weekend, so the corridors were empty. No excuse not to get the head down and cut-down the 'to-do' list - so that's just what I did. Managed to get through a lot today, but it was an overcast slog rather than a joyous, bouncing step...
