MonoMonday - Season

Had to get some shopping for Mum then had lunch together, got away late afternoon but too late to beat the traffic, sitting in a too hot bus wishing all cars would disappear so I could get home.

Sad sad news about St Paul's Church in Muirhouse going up in smoke last night, most of the building was wood, so it didn't take long to be destroyed. Shame as I've been in it for various events and it had closed recently, but the community wished to keep it - except those obviously that set it on fire?

Done up it could have been a lovely small theatre or community hub. However, it is well known the developers have been wanting the land for a while, so they'll get it now!

Waiting at the bus stop for LRT 41. Seasonal Blip of a St Andrew's Cross painted taxi probably well used yesterday on St Andrew's Day and over the next few weeks, to the Xmas Tree on the 1st December the continuation of the Xmas spending silly money season of CyberMonday! Cloudberry Gifts is a wee local gift shop and has an excellent cafe so it's a place I can cope with :-)

I struggle to just do everyday shopping. I so hate going shopping when it's busy and especially for Xmas, but I'll have to think about it soon yeuch! It is the season to be queuing in the Post Office too, had to get stamps.
