Just semi-perched

Finished washing-up from lunch to peer into the sitting-room and found Hector half-perched on the corner of the sofa watching me!
Alas, the decorators have not turned up this morning, so everything will remain at sixes and sevens for even longer. There are no curtains up in the sitting room and a strange resonance permeates the room indicating emptiness. The weather will turn colder from tomorrow, but luckily the wood burning stove still works! How lovely it would be to feel cosy on such cold days!
