Mono Challenge........

This is a section of a hornets nest that we took down from under the eaves of the barn. An amazing structure made from wood pulp by the hornets. It had four floors with pillars between each, so the hornets could get into the cells to feed the grubs.

The season for making and living in the nest is over, many of the hornets will have died, leaving only the mated queens who will produce young next year.

I think this section of the nest works well in mono!
