Alien Attack?
What a strange but wonderful weekend...
Our long planned weekend in Glasgow to pre-celebrate middle child becoming a teenager was cancelled on Friday night after Niamh was violently ill and sent home from school to continue her vomiting...
Saturday morning 7.30 and a bouncing 10 year old announced she felt GREAT!
Quick family conflab and a rushed pack of the car saw us head off to Glasgow as planned.
A full on day at the fantastic Science Centre then a trip down to Ayr instead of the planned-then-cancelled-hotel. The beds were comfier and the food better and we saved some money so no-one was complaining...
Up bright and breezy today to return to Glasgow for a ski boot remould and some outdoor shop browsing (no, I didn't spend a penny, honest!) then off to the Time Capsule for some water fun.
A quick scoot along the motorway for a ski session which almost predictably ended in a stretchering off the slopes - no lasting harm but a very shaken and sore pre-teen!
And finally, after a lovely day with excitement and action, a lovely family meal down by the bridges...
The water was so so still so whilst everyone else packed in a dessert, I set the tripod up for some shots from my dying battery...
Question is; what is the green jellyfish-like thing in the sky? It appears in a few shots?
Anyone?
