Owls and Mice nears completion

This watercolor is nearly finished except
for touch-ups here and there. I am tempted
to have a branch continuation by center
snowy owl. Only this time it the branch would
become dark [It would connect the two white branches between mice on left and background right snowy owl]......What to do??
Also do you think three white mice are a bit much?
