Bush Christmas.......

Western Australia's indigenous Christmas Tree spotted in a paddock.

It was a reasonably dull evening but the Christmas Tree still glowed golden. In researching this native to Western Australia tree, which only flowers around Christmas, I discovered that a fascinating fact is that it is at least partly a root parasite attaching itself to the roots of other plants to get water and nutrients.

More about this sneaky survivor here WA Christmas Tree

Worth a look in LARGE!
