Bush Christmas.......
Western Australia's indigenous Christmas Tree spotted in a paddock.
It was a reasonably dull evening but the Christmas Tree still glowed golden. In researching this native to Western Australia tree, which only flowers around Christmas, I discovered that a fascinating fact is that it is at least partly a root parasite attaching itself to the roots of other plants to get water and nutrients.
