Jacaranda carpet

Day one with my Sigma 30mm 1:1.4 EX DC (not, very much not, HSM; it's loud as).

Aaaaanyway...

I actually started the day off with lorikeets. Cheeky little beggars looking in, angling for food. I went out with my camera and no food. ;)

I think I've satisfactorily fixed the back-focusing issue; what say you? ;)

Then I left for work. I've been looking for a 'jacaranda carpet' (the blossoms really do carpet the ground/grass beneath in a beautiful way when they drop), and I thought this was nice:

Larger is pretty nice.

Flickr is pretty nicerr.
