Broad Bay, Dunedin

This was the view from our airbnb. It is part of the Otaga Peninsula and it empties into the South Pacific Ocean. We left Dunedin today and are now in Christchurch.

Evidence of the destruction of the 2012 earthquake is everywhere. Blanks in the cityscape, construction, and reconstruction only begin to provide insight as to what has and is transpiring. And it has effected the entire country. Someone far more articulate than I is needed to explain all of this.
