Sunset over the church
For the first time in ages (well it has felt like it) we had some sunshine and blue sky and some cloud 'features' instead of mist and grey skies.
On our walk today there were some amazing 'sculpted' clouds - so (I) we took a detour to the top of a small hill (dogs were not impressed as the wanted to get off to the woods) and captured these.
It was very busy along the bridleways - we met loads of other dog walkers and four horses and riders. The nice weather had brought every one out!
It could have been spring, warm and sunny and skylarks aloft with their twittering!
After lunch I went to Tadcaster to get some bits for tea and intended to wander a bit to get some photos - but it was Christmas market and turning on of the lights so the place was heaving. Nowhere to park!
So on the way home I stopped to photograph our local church with the sun setting behind. This is a 6 shot HDR exposure fusion.
An alternative shot with the clouds more over the church is here
