Ben Tirran

Spectacular weather today for our walk up Ben Tirran (Corbett, 896m) in Glen Clova. Lots and lots of snow on the hills which I expect will last for quite some time. We walked clockwise around the corrie that contains (a currently frozen) Loch Wharral and were in awe of the cornices hanging over the headwall.

Plenty of amazing pictures to choose from but I like this one of a spectacular formation presumably caused by the wind swirling round the little lump to the left.
