The game's a bogey..
Another Borders Railway picture- this one was taken near Stow.
These workers had to push this cart about a quarter of a mile up the track- they must be quite fit!
The typical historical view of Britain's railways is that they were build by Irish navvie and I was wondering who built the original Waverley line and where they came from. There may be Irishmen working on rebuilding the Borders railway but I believe there's a lot of local Borderers employed on it as well.
