Montreal by Night

We had big plans to leave the house at 8:30 and arrive in Montreal at 11:30 to be able to spend the whole day, but our best intentions were thwarted at every turn. We left at 9:30, spent over an hour at the border waiting to get into Canada, and then got stuck in traffic in the city because there was a huge protest that blocked traffic for many many blocks, which the police seemed more to be participating in rather than controlling. So we finally arrived at our hotel at 3:30, by which time we all had to pee so badly, were starving for lunch, and were extremely grouchy. We had an early dinner at a Lebanese restaurant we always go to with my cousin Julie from McGill, and by the time we were finished it was already dark! This shot was taken up on the hill behind the university at the Royal Victoria Hospital on my iPhone. I forgot to bring a proper camera with me.
