Maze

Really lovely Saturday morning. A brief squeak from his room at 6:05 but he went back to sleep and we all had a lie in until after 8! Into town to buy daddy a new coat and he enjoyed the escalators in the Grand Arcade and was well behaved in the shops. Then on to the botanic gardens for running around climbing up the steps in the rock garden, feeding the ducks, splashing in puddles, and a lovely lunch.

The lie in had obviously refreshed him as he was still wide awake after lunch and up for more fun running around in the grass maze and climbing on the carved log chair in the middle. In fact he even stayed awake all the way home in the bike much to our surprise - with lots of singing on the way.

The afternoon was quieter but overall a great day.
