A full-on day of activities, taking maximum advantage of ticket giveaways, free vouchers and rewards points from shopping in a loyalty kind of way. Late morning ice-skating at St Andrews Square, then joined by for lunch, before heading to Edinburgh Castle (really good, first time I've ever been and I've lived here for 20 years) finishing off with a teatime showing of the Paddington movie which we all really enjoyed. All a bit weary, but I for one am determined to stay awake for Match Of The Day....and keep away from any of today's results as well. Shhh.
