Parallel Play

My good friend Maggie and I are indulging in some parallel play this afternoon as we both struggle to get class work done for finals. It's a stressful end of the semester so far. Maggie introduced me to parallel play as an adult, and sometimes we get together to do our own thing even when it's not homework. Since I live along I enjoy just spending time with someone, but it's even better when I can be productive while seeing a friend. Plus it gets rid of that annoying "what are we going to do" question that has plagued social gatherings for thousands of years.
