"The Craig"

Many years go, I was brought up across the river from Motherwell and Ravenscraig featured strongly in my youth. Not least when the wind was easterly and a red dust drifted our way. In my teens I was fortunate to be on a guided tour and found the whole thing fascinating but very, very hot!
This morning I went over to Falkirk for the annual train show and this display caught my eye. I must admit there seemed to be fewer displays this year but the overall quality was very high. Sadly there was a distinct lack of my main interest, American themed displays.
We had all the family round this afternoon for dinner, a super lasagne cooked by the Maestro, Andrew. Even better, there is a lovely big piece left for tomorrow, yum!
