Forest fire

A wonderful day was spent with friends we have not seen for ages. We had special access to light a fire as Stella and John work in the forest. So we lit a fire, old school, with flint and cotton wool, pot over the fire with home-made soup and sausages cooked over the flames. It was perfect! The sun was out, the kids happily running around and Seren and Herbie were content wondering off collecting fire wood and drinking tea whilst sitting on their little tree stumps.

Really special day as it's something you don't get to do often. I could sit round a fire all day long, so nice.
