We got outside in the sun today and did some hacking and weeding.

Our butterfly bush could still be hacked back yet but it's a lot better than it was.

Under the crap that we took out, new plants can be seen making their way through the surface, so we shall see what develops in our first year at the new house, before making any drastic changes in the flower beds.

I hope we haven't chased the birds away by hacking their favourite place to bits.
