The countdown begins

We set off to the shops nice and early this morning hoping to make a bit of a dent in the Christmas shopping. I think we were the nearly the first ones in the multi story carpark and got our favourite mums and tots space. After nearly 3 hours of shopping (and coffee break) we had bought a grand total of 1 present! We just couldn't find what we were after in any of the shops.

We met up with grandma, grandad and P and we saw Monty the Penguin in John Lewis before heading home for lunch.

I had put up the advent calendar last night and P was very excited when she got home and saw it. However I did catch her trying to steel a chocolate snowman out of it this afternoon!
