Golden afternoon

The day didn't start well as my husband had loaded the car with yet more empty boxes and headed for the tip. He didn't get far before realising that one of the tyres was flat. More than flat really it had a hole in it. This occurred when he hit the kerb trying to avoid someone driving too fast towards him.

Anyway several hours later in late afternoon I went for a walk along the river estuary. The warm calm atmosphere and autumnal colours were striking.
