First Bike

A higgeldy piggeldy day today.

The boys didn't stay up late on the sleepover. Thank fully! But they did stay in bed, for creak fast while they watched a movie this morning. Little Miss E was desperate to go in and see them.

Once I dropped N off at his parents, Munchkin 1 and I went off to buy an owl birthday cake for Little Miss E and also to pick up the present her Granny had got her. Sadly it wasn't in yet, so it means another trip to town after work tomorrow. Owl cake purchased and off we went home. As Little Missy and her daddy were still out, I set about tacking the ironing pile which has multiplied in the last day, while trying to watch a bit of catch up telly.

Todays Blip is of Little Missy on her second outing on her first bike, (sporting a wee bit of tartan for St Andrews Day), which she got yesterday as an early birthday present as daddy is away this week and will miss it. She hasn't quite got the hang of it yet. Very good at back peddling, steering normally involves going straight in to the van, and peddling forward ceases after two rotations. Early days. Her big brother did it straight away when he got his at three, so I suppose i shouldn't compare.:\

The cars got a much needed clean, hoover and jolly good boot sort out this afternoon. Unfortunately Mr C isn't the tidiest of folk, so we'll see how long it lasts. Now that summer season for hiring kayaks is over I can get the estate back. Its so nice to have a wee bit of power back under my feet and uber comfortable sports seats.

Monday tomorrow...how did that happen?
