This town belongs to you

"This town belongs to you and your barks of confidence
All the streets for miles around are littered with your pawprints
Now every dog I get close to seems to remind me of you
And the clock strikes the letters of your name, both midnight and noon"

Apologies to Elvis Costello for my slight modifications of the original lyric, which are more about a lost love through neglect. But I have always loved this song and think that the first few lines do fit very well to our present state of mind.

Went for a walk this morning up at Signal de Bougy, which was one of usual weekend haunts with Dylan, great to let him off the lead through the forest, and then share our café et croissant and then he always loved to see the rabbits on the small farm.

This is view from above looking across the lake towards France. Just a slight hint of blue in the sky.

Thanks for dropping by and hope you have had a enjoyable weekend. And thanks for propelling yesterday's blip into the spotlight, It is still there: must be a slow day at blip central.
