Early start to get to Wellington. Had to say bye to a few people, seems strange.

We had a free day today, I somehow ended up being your guide! So we went up the cable car to the botanical gardens. Then down to the museum for a couple of hours (well I may have ended up in the pub!) before heading to Cuba Street for lunch.

Cuba St was cool, with interesting shops and cafes. Then tried a few bars out before getting the ferry over to the South Island.

We stayed at a hostel in Picton after dancing to some live music in the local Irish bar.
