Ooooh

Here's Monkey enjoying her first fireworks - I think she likes them! We watched them from the comfort, warmth, uncrowded and quiteness of a coffee shop with a cuppa and some cake. They were part of the local Christmas lights switch on festivities.

Bumped into loads of people we know - it's a real family event. I got a little teary on the walk back - the lights were so pretty and I just felt so blessed to be part of my own little family and to live in such a lovely community.

It's so nice having the fella home on Saturdays rather than DIYing at the other house. And I know he loves it too. He had a lot of fun today feeding Monkey - it's the first time he's seen her have proper food.
