We went to buy a Christmas tree in Heiðmörk, the forest outside Reykjavik. They have a small Christmas market there every year. We did not buy anything except the little tree, but went for a walk in the forest afterwards. The market is behind the houses on the picture.
In the afternoon we visited some friends for coffee and pancakes, and in the evening was M´s work Christmas dinner. The food was delicious and plentiful as usual, I ate too much, drank just enough, and we were back home at 11. It had started to snow on the mountain when we drove home, so I was glad we did not stay longer. All in all a busy day for us who are usually real homebodies!
