Mum and I had made plans a while ago to go into town to get some Christmas shopping done; not realising it was Black Friday today. When did this become a thing?! Town was absolute chaos, we won't be making that mistake again! The best part of the day was our lunch in the 1940s tearooms. Mum loves that place. and finds an excuse to go every time she's in Colchester.

Greg and I were meant to go and see Hunger Games in the evening, but average reviews from friends meant the lure of the pub was stronger.
