Hungry Hill

Two mountains in a month; this morning I climbed Hungry Hill (685 m, 2248 ft) it is the highest peak in the Caha Mountain range and the 130th highest in Ireland. It forms part of the backbone of mountains running down the centre of the Beara Peninsula in County Cork in south-western Ireland. The weather was dull, the climb tough enough, the company delightful, and the sense of achievement great.

This is looking south towards Sheep's Head and Mount Gabriel on Mizen.
