We happened to be driving past the crematorium/cemetery and child #1 noted military graves in a green lawn. We decided to drive in and have a look around.

It was surprisingly busy with visitors placing flowers and tidying gravestones. It was a lovely garden-like environment. In the area photographed above, a cluster of individuals is buried around each tree- a design I have not seen before. Despite its prettiness, neither of us were inclined to get out of the car. With the death of Phil Hughes receiving blanket coverage in the news and social media this week, the cemetery was a bit too 'real'.
