First snow

Woke up this morning to find an inch of snow on the ground. Not on the streets, just the ground so traffic was not a problem by the time I headed out about 10.30.

A cloudless blue sky belied a wind that constantly reminded me that I should have worn a warmer coat.
Apart from watching a football match or two., (well, perhaps three), it was a relaxing day.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
