twisty spinny whooshy
If there was a little cabinet on paths such as this containing a stiff-bristled brush and a flexible-bladed shovel then it would be easy for path-users with a few spare minutes to stop every so often to scrape a few of the worst builds-up of leafjam away. Unfortunately, dragging such tools out from home requires a bit more planning and a bit more time, but I now know that the stiff-bristled brush fits rather elegantly onto my bike without interfering with pannier-attachment and re-discovered that the snowshovel left in the plastic garden tool-store by the house's previous owner can be unscrewed into two pannierable pieces (or just bungeed sideways to the rack), making it feasible to drag either tool along the path on a normal commute for a wee spot of de-gunking when it next reaches a dangerous level, where they will be more effective than the side of a shoe hitherto employed.
Later that same day...
FALCON!
