Christmas in the sun

The choir my daughter sings in performed at the turning on of the Christmas lights on the Esplanade in Cairns. Children were dancing around to their songs, the sun shone, Santa came. His helpers were doing face painting. It was great fun. I love the ozzie version of Jingle Bells.

It was a great night, but still seems wrong to not have cold and snow forecasts.
