Pommes, churros, grillwurst & chocolate strawberri

First visit of the season to the Essen Weihnachtsmarkt.

A perfect evening for it (the problem was that everyone else had the same idea, it was crazy busy) cold but not freezing and dry (nothing worse than a christmas market in the rain).

We hit the pommes stand first then headed to the big wheel before queuing for ages to get churros, a quick meander through the main Kennedyplatz stalls, collecting socks and biscuits on the way. Then another long queue for sausage in a bun before heading back to the car via the chocolate fountain stall.

A culinary odyssey.
