St andrew's ball Beijing

The love and passion of Scotland in China is phenomenal. Everywhere I have been and everyone I meet seems to adore everything about Scotland. In a country, where beijing is 5 Times our population this is quite amazing.

Tonight I went to the Caledonian st andrew's day ball. I was invited to say the Selkirk Grace and we had 12 year old malt on the table, and a ceilidh band from Aberdeenshire. What's not to like?

Okay air pollution was over 600 so couldn't go outside all day. Watched back to back 'outsider' Yip you can view it.here. But nothing a wee dram, a birl and the awareness I am gan hame the morn to uplift me.
