Big Baby gets a new voice

After the screw up on thursday, I finally get my act together and fit the pickup to my guitar. It’s the dark ‘lozenge’ shaped thing at the top of the sound hole. It sits there hovering, ready to sense the vibrations in the strings. When I eventually refit them.

Apart from dodgy screws, it goes together quite quickly. The guitar has a slot just under the neck, ready to accept two prongs on the pickup. A simple click and it’s done.

I refit the strings and plug it into my amplifier. Woohoo - we have lift off. No unwanted noises or hums, just the sound of the strings. A very clever little device. Apart from the dodgy screws.

Shame they don’t make them for the human voice.
