Goodbye Autumn

Hello winter! A rite of passage in the States
for the changing of the seasons is that pumpkin
decor graces entrances of homes for the months
of October and November.....Immediately after
Thanksgiving the Christmas lights go on and
trees are decorated.

I went out to remove my pumpkin [grown in Texas]
yesterday only to find it had frozen to its table.
A few good kicks did not loosen it so now I have
a combined Autumn/winter decor out there.
Such is life!
