A random Hong Kong wedding

This is an unexpected blip. I went down to breakfast this morning and noticed that the outside area which is great to sit in when the weather is not too hot was being prepared for an event. I chatted to one of the staff who confirmed it was a wedding.

After breakfast I returned diligently to my room and worked for about three hours until lunch. I went into the bar area and en route noticed the chairs were all set out and decked with drapes etc. guests looked to be arriving. I had lunch a rather interesting Thai sweet and sour pomelo salad with crabmeat which was considered as a blip. I left and was walking past the outside area just as it was being announced that the bride was arriving. I paused, readied my iPad and took a couple of snaps.

Returning to my room I liked the look of one of them but wanted to create a more picture postcard version of it as that is how the wedding appeared to me at the time. So with a little enhancement here is the final blip.

Had another good afternoon working and then met my colleague newly arrived from the UK and we have passed two hours chatting and relaxing. Now for dinner.
