Life cycle little blue penguin Banks Peninsula NZ
Wonderful trip with Nature Photography Club today to see a breeding area of little blue penguins, with Chris, who has been studying the colony for over thirty years. Beautiful weather too and a lovely walk.
The pictures are newly hatched chicks, fat little half grown chicks, chicks losing their down and almost ready to leave, and an adult bird.
And thank you so much for the wonderful comments and all the stars and hearts for yesterday's tern, it's been in spotlight all day, flying higher and higher!
