Salmon Run

Last weekend Mark & I went up toward Mt. Baker mountain. I haven't been up since I moved into town. Wondered how I'd feel, but the further up we got the better I felt. Not sure what the difference is between a country girl & a mountain girl, but I shot some amazing photos of the Nooksack River Bed with storm clouds and we hiked around a bit. Then we came across some men Salmon fishing in the Nooksack. It was a great day. I'm grateful that even though I have to live in the city now, I can leave home and still visit the ocean or the mountain. Both of which make me happy.
