Uncle Frank

They say when the sun produces rays through the clouds, it's a sign from someone who has passed.
I think these rays are from my Uncle Frank who passed away many years ago. I've been thinking of him lately, mainly because of Thanksgiving.
When we were kids, on Thanksgiving morning we would go to the high school football game, and then to Uncle Franks for his famous pecan rolls. They are fond memories.
I contacted my cousin, Lorna, his daughter, and asked if she had his recipe for the pecan rolls. She happily sent them to me, and I made them for our Thanksgiving dinner.
They were a big hit! I think they will also be a new tradition in our family.
