Welcoming

Our village hall this evening. Nicely lit up, but a dark walk through the village, with a torch coming in handy. We don’t go in for many street lights round here.

A group of us met for a book group meeting. We had read The Memory of Love by Aminatta Forna. We all enjoyed it and it led to a lot of lively discussion. Not a perfect book, but how much background to Sierra Leone it gives, bearing in mind the current situation with Ebola. Quite chilling in fact!
