Friday 50 at Whipsnade

Despite the grey and threatening sky, I met up with two lovely fellow Blippers at Whipsnade today. It was great to meet someone as a real person rather than a Blipfoto code name.

We started the day with coffee, progressed round some animals, decided lunch would be good, a few more animals and then home. We were all struggling to do the best we could with the drab situation but it's all good practice so the at next time we will get that 'prize winner'!

A really fun day even though the baby elephant decided to wander off for a snooze just as we entered the elephant house - we just caught a glimpse of him.

This image of the rhino is about the only one today I know was taken at 50mm, hence its inclusion. I have various others which would go under the title of 'Does my bum look big in this?' or 'No, I am not going to look at the camera!' One poor rhino had a cut on its back and one of those charming magpies was eating it!!!
